The word "asana" is commonly associated with the physical poses in the yoga practice, however the direct translation of "asana" is actually your "seat." Traditionally, yogic postures were used as a preparation for seated meditation and were a preface to the other limbs of the yogic tradition.
In this workshop, you will take a full tour of the hips with a final destination of a meditation seat. Come clean out all the dusty corners that tend to congest the hips, legs, and low back which make seated meditation seem unbearable. This workshop will include a full physical practice followed by a brief guided meditation.
