This 4-week series is designed for those who are brand new to the practice of yoga as well as those who wish to get “back to basics” in an open and exploratory environment. Each session will focus on the structural alignment principles of basic Vinyasa yoga postures and sequences, where students will be introduced to variations of sun salutations (a connected series of postures linked to breath), standing, balance and seated poses as well as backbends and inversions. In this small group environment, students will be invited to ask questions and to explore each pose within their own body in order to develop a strong, healthy, safe and mindful Yoga practice.
This series will take place on four consecutive Tuesdays from 6:00-7:00 p.m., beginning September 18th.
